Andy had an early project idea for a simple table made from one solid piece of recylced whatever, that could be a start. That website is awesome. kinda similar to what i had in mind for ours but we might have to rethink some stuff.
I like the cardboard idea. If it's built well (as I'm sure it will be), it'll be a poinient reminder to all taht see it that tasteful re-purposing is possible. I just went to the instructables website two days ago for easy do-it-yourself screenprinting.

decision 1: i'm gonna make it out of cardboard, i've got some old boxes in the garage and our good friend the liquor store gives them away for free!
